Campbell Supply is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Parts Delivery Driver to join our team.
As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of parts and supplies to our customers.
You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism and providing exceptional customer service while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Key
Responsibilities:
Delivery Operations:
Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle to deliver parts and supplies to customers within assigned routes and schedules.
Verify and load items onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of fragile or hazardous materials.
Review delivery orders, invoices, or manifests to determine items to be delivered and the best route for timely and efficient delivery.
Follow specified instructions regarding delivery routes, special instructions, or customer preferences.
Maintain delivery logs, records, and other documentation as required.
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers professionally, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints or concerns promptly and courteously.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors to provide updates on delivery status, delays, or any relevant information.
Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:
Perform regular inspections of the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the delivery vehicle.
Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or incidents immediately to the appropriate supervisor.
Follow proper procedures for loading and unloading items, ensuring they are securely fastened to prevent damage during transit.
Inventory Management:
Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking parts and supplies in the warehouse or storage area as needed.
Conduct periodic inventory checks to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies or shortages to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and at least 2 years unrestricted driving experience.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or a similar role is preferred.
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to navigate using GPS or other routing systems.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
Physical stamina to lift, carry, and transport heavy items as required.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Dependability and reliability to consistently meet delivery schedules.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Note:
